This Privacy Policy describes how and when we will collect, use, and share information when you contact us or book our services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including Wix, Google or any third party services you access through these sites. You can reference the Wix Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To fulfil your enquiry or book our services you must provide us with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, plus photographs of and the details about the work you wish to be carried out. You may also choose to provide additional personal information if you contact us directly.

WHY WE NEED YOUR INFORMATION & HOW WE USE IT
We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use and share your information:
• as needed to provide our services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your requested work, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support
• when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time

• we process personal data as part of a contract to which you are a party, or in order to take steps by your request prior to entering a contract
• if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your payments if required by tax law
• as necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, such as providing and improving our services, we use your information to provide the services you requested and in our legitimate interest to improve our services

 

INFORMATION SHARING & DISCLOSURE
Information about customers is important to our business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances:
• Compliance with laws. We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.

• We use Wix to build our website. For information on how Wix handles site visitors' data please review sections 8, 12, and 13 of Wix's Privacy Policy.

• We use Google Mail and Contacts to store the data you provide us with to complete your booking, plus any other data you choose to provide us with. You can refer to the Google Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.

• We use Invoice2Go application to send you quotes and invoices. You can refer to their own Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.

• Your data will not be shared or transferred if our business is ever sold.

 

DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in this Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We keep your data for approximately 7 years.

 

YOUR RIGHTS
If you reside in the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. 
• Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us.
• Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where we are required to store data for legal reasons) we will generally delete your personal information upon request.
• Object. You can object to (i) our processing of some of your information based on our legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from our after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
• Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All quotations are based on prices of materials operative at the date of the quotation and are subject to revision in the event of material prices increasing between the date of quotation and the date of commencement of work.

 

  • The Contractor shall make every effort to meet commencement and completion dates. These dates whether in writing or verbal are given in good faith and no liability shall be accepted for the non-fulfilment of these dates due to any circumstances.

 

  • Cancellation of works shall be notified in writing by the client. The contractor reserves the right to charge the client for the costs incurred prior to notification and /or subsequent costs.

 

  • Unless the Contractor has been specifically asked to submit a planning application on behalf of the Client, all the necessary permissions and licences are deemed to have been obtained by the Client, before work commences.

 

  • The Contractor holds a Public Liability insurance and is responsible for all his employees; however, the Contractor cannot accept liability for injury to unauthorised persons or animals on site.

 

 

  • Whilst every care is taken the Contractor cannot be held responsible for damage or injury caused to underground water supplies, gas supplies, electric supplies, land drains or any other utilities however caused unless the exact location is made clear prior to commencement of work.

 

  • In the event of an accident or serious illness where the Contractor cannot fulfil the contract, then no responsibility shall befall the Contractor in this situation.

 

 

  • All works and materials on site shall remain the property of the Contractor and shall remain the property of the Contractor until payment is made in full.

 

Terms of Contract

Any queries regarding the work done should be made in writing within 10 working days within receipt of the final invoice.

No variation in these conditions of contract shall be allowed unless agreed in writing and signed by a partner of the firm.

 

Payment Terms - Full payment must be made within 14 days from the date of invoice.

 

Interest Charges - We reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 2% per month on accounts that are still outstanding 14 days after date of invoice. We will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms
